SUP CAMPING IN MAURICIE PARK

 

WHAT:  

Do Sport, in partnership with Parks Canada, concocts a superb 2-day SUP-Camping adventure in majestic La Mauricie National Park.

During your stay, you'll discover the peaceful environment of Lake Wapizagonke, with its beaches and breathtaking scenery.

SUP camping courses, swimming at the Cascades, BBQ dinner, campfire and lots of other great surprises! And all in good company.

Our team will help you acquire the basic skills needed to make the most of your stay and organize your next SUP Camping outings.

* A workshop will be held on April 6 MORNING SUP CAMPING EXPEDITION at DO SPORT with the following speakers: Lou Gruslin of Parks Canada and Gérald Hotte, eco-adventure manager at DO SPORT, Dominique Vallée president of DO SPORT and Émile Plamondon co-founder of TREKO.

 

WHO: 

Age doesn't matter when passion brings people together. 

Basic paddleboarding skills. Please note that groups will be formed according to participants' abilities.

Young people under 18 must be accompanied by their parents.

From Saturday, June 29 at 9:00 to Sunday, June 30 at 15:00


WHERE: 

Arrival at Pique-Nique Wapizagonke via the St-Mathieu entrance (25km from the entrance)

Included: 

- Park entrance and parking 

- La Clairière camping area (access to showers and toilets)

- Framing 

- Training courses 

- Evening meal (if you have any allergies, please let us know and make sure you have everything you need to complete your meal).

 - Tent and mattress:

. We will form teams of two people per tent. If you already have a pair, just let us know.

. If you prefer to bring your own tent, no problem.

 

What to bring: A more complete list will be sent to you when you register, but here it is:

  • Sleeping bag and pillow ;
  • Crockery and camping utensils ;
  • Reusable bottle or gourd ;
  • Comfortable, weather-appropriate outdoor clothing;
  • Swimwear and accessories ;
  • Rainwear ;
  • Comfortable, supportive footwear;
  • Flashlight or headlamp ;
  • Matches or lighter ;
  • Insect repellent ;
  • Sunscreen, glasses and hat to protect you from the sun;
  • Cookware including water container;
  • Personal hygiene items ;
  • Your health insurance card and personal medication;
  • Life jackets;
  • Your food for: Saturday dinner, Sunday lunch and dinner.
