Storage of a paddle board

Rigid paddle board storage 

 

-TO DO:

  • Make sure that the paddle board is completely SEC before storing it in an unheated area during winter.

  • Clean your paddle board with a mild organic soap.

  • Make any necessary repairs. (optional)

  • Insert the paddle board in a protective cover. (optional)

  • Use a wall mount for SUP. (optional)

 

-TO AVOID:

  • Avoid storing a damaged paddleboard in an unheated area if there has been water infiltration.

  • Avoid intense and rapid temperature changes (e.g. winter storage at -25 degrees Celsius and storage at 20 degrees Celsius without thawing time).

 

Inflatable paddle board storage 

 

-TO DO:

  • Make sure that the inflatable paddle board is completely SEC before storing it in an unheated area during winter.

  • Clean your paddle board with a mild organic soap.

  • Leave about 7-8 PSI of air in your inflatable paddle board. (optional)

 

-TO AVOID:

  • If you want to completely deflate your inflatable paddleboard to store it in its carrying bag, avoid folding/rolling it where the fins are.

  • Avoid intense and rapid temperature changes (e.g. winter storage at -25 degrees Celsius and storage at 20 degrees Celsius without thawing time).
